Spring Home Refresh
It's finally starting to feel like summer here in New Jersey and, lucky for me, my personal home projects are starting to come together just in time!
I spent the first half of 2022 updating some rooms in my house and I'm so excited to share in this months blog! Keep in mind, like any personal home project, there is still more to be done, but let's dive in...
Starting off with the most important room in my home, the kitchen. From redesigning the entire eating area to revamping the cabinets, backsplash and countertops, I feel so much joy every time I use this space (which is, of course, every single day). By putting new quartzite countertops in, replacing the hardware, and updating the drapery, I was able to keep my same cabinets while bringing an updated design to the space.
As for the eating area, I'm proud to say I can finally sit my entire family comfortably for a meal and that means a lot to me! The full kitchen is still a work in progress, so be sure to check out social for more updates!
Onto my next home update, the bar area! If you know me, then you know I cannot resist a little sparkle. I just had to bring a little glitz and glam to my bar space. I plan to utilize the floating shelves, in a practical way, and display wine glasses but for now, I'm just admiring the full out tile wall details and cannot wait to use this space to entertain!
And last, but certainly not least, is my foyer. I finally got around to updating the banisters to a beautiful transitional design in a rich black and stained the railings and posts a coordinating color. I am so happy with this space and that my favorite "butterfly brain" sculpture is right on display upon entering my home!
As a designer, my home is constantly evolving and I feel so grateful and inspired that I get to express my love for design in my own home. With that being said, I am never fully done with my home so stay tuned on our social channels for more of my personal home design updates.
